Nicola Sales
I’m Nicola Mae Sales, Founder and Managing Director of YourRecruit.
I live in Copthorne with my husband Martyn, our cat and my horse. Family, loyalty and integrity sit at the heart of everything I do, both personally and professionally.
With over 33 years in recruitment, I now work exclusively within Children’s Residential and Supported Accommodation. I partner with Directors, Responsible Individuals and Registered Managers to secure the right leaders and teams, people who truly understand safeguarding, the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted expectations.
Recruitment in this sector isn’t about filling roles. It’s about protecting culture, compliance and ultimately children’s lives.
I lead a brilliant all-female team where we work hard, laugh daily and take huge pride in changing people’s careers. There is nothing better than hearing a candidate’s excitement when they secure the role they’ve worked so hard for.

Our journey
Since 1994, YourRecruit has redefined recruitment standards. Starting with just one Consultant, we quickly secured a key contract to supply 30 temps to a marketing company in Croydon. By the end of our first year, we expanded to five consultants, building a reputation for excellence and dedication.
We now have a large, happy team of experienced Consultants and Resourcers, plus Administrative and Accounts staff who make sure the business runs like clockwork and ensure a seamless recruitment service at all times.
Our growth is rooted in our core values of integrity and personalised service. We focus on understanding each client’s unique needs, ensuring every placement adds value. This approach has forged lasting partnerships and a track record of exceptional recruitment solutions across various sectors.
